Bystanders Of Democratic System

The election of Trump being the new President of the magnanimous state U.S.A on November 8th, 2016 came as a shocker to me as to the most of the people worldwide. The hell of a reaction broke out after that bombshell of an election. The generally aware & logical class worldwide wasn’t expecting this choice from the Americans.
I was reading the tweets on my twitter application trying to understand what really happened when I came across the tweet which not only made me understand this surprise & shocking victory but also made me comprehend the continuous approval of the crooked perverts in my own country’s political arena & they are a consistent choice for my co-citizens. The highlight of that tweet which brought lucidity in my understanding was
“Never underestimate the large group of stupid people in any democracy”.
I was in a similar state of shock when a tried & tested party won the General Elections of 2013 in my country. Me being an enthusiastic young person who had come to the conclusion that the only right choice of country’s leadership & representatives can only sort us into a better shape domestically & internationally, was terribly thwarted & felt let down by this choice of our public.
But this Trump’s victory made me realize that the changing world dynamics to gauge the real trends of liking or disliking towards anything be it views, ideologies or individuals are highly disillusioned by technology, print, electronic & most importantly social media. These new developments have served us in a good way but with these originations we unnoticeably get surrounded by a view of a particular sort. With the option of choice, we get circumscribed by people, views & beliefs of our personal interests & inclinations & get farther from the general opinion. We have the choice of liking the person we like, follow the person we want to follow & viewing the channel we want to view. Thus, at the end we are incased in our own choices.
We the generally aware class of society interpret our views as the collective views of the whole society. This is where we largely go wrong in interpreting the situation, gauging the trends & making the anticipations. That rather large & greatly influential group of people act like a silent bystander of the populace because in this game of democracy majority, numbers, figures thus in short quantity matters a lot. Quality is not the aspect which is largely focused upon by the mighty game players of democratic politics. Democracy where at one side gives right to the public’s view to get opiniated, it can turn out to be a perilous experience if the public’s opinion is artfully misguided.
As the general elections of Pakistan are verging on, we need to widen our view to judge the situation & trends accordingly & the major stakeholders of politics need to focus & invest the deserved time on the public who are the game-up lifters of this game of democracy. The vast rural majority & even those living in urban suburbs whose views are either polluted or have no views on political system at all must not be neglected in gauging the overall political scenario.

  1. Ahaan great...✌️
Nowadays all of us are saying that we should vote Imran Khan coz he's gonna bring change.... Have any one of us tried to think that what kind of change is he talking about..??
No, none of us has tried to do so....we just do those things what others tell us to do....without thinking on it....
Imran Khan's about to bring change by applying more and more taxes on each and everything....and in this way people won't have money and inflation will decrease.... This is his point in bringing change....!!!
I am not against anyone... I am just trying to tell all of you to be aware of everything and then decide.... Whom you want to vote for...!!!
